The yacht-basin is in an old arm of the Scheldt just outside the town centre, in quiet, green and flowery surroundings. Electricity and drinking water are available. The jetty is 200m long and is accessible for wheelchairs.

There is a butcher’s, a baker’s and a greengrocer’s nearby.
A chemist’s or a GP’s surgery are also within reach.
